Volunteer Opportunities 

REGISTER AS A VOLUNTEER

*** Please allow at least 2-3 days to complete this process ***

*** Do NOT expect to be able to register and sign-up to volunteer on the same day ***

 Steps: 

1. Create an Account: https://aceingautism.galaxydigital.com/user/register/

• Communications - Do NOT opt out of receiving emails as this will keep you from receiving important program communications

•  Film Release – respond “Agree” or “Do NOT Agree”

• Liability Waiver –

  •  Electronically sign the waiver.

  •  If you are a minor provide the email address for a parent/guardian. Let them know to expect an email to which they must respond!

  2. Background Check

• 18+ years – Do NOT do this on a phone!!

  • Click Respond

  • Complete the form following the instructions provided above

• Under 18 years

  • The national office will apply a bypass code to your account

  • This will typically be completed within 24 hours

  3.  Join Dallas - UTD User Group

• Go to: https://bit.ly/aceing-autism-dallas-utd

• Click “Join User Group”

  4. Join SportsYou

• Go to: http://aceingautism.galaxydigital.com/sportsyou-group-codes/ for detailed instructions on joining SportsYou

  5. New Volunteer Online Training

• Go to: http://aceingautism.galaxydigital.com/new-volunteer-training/ for detailed instructions on completing new volunteer training

SIGN-UP TO VOLUNTEER (For Individual Events)

  1. Go to: https://aceingautism.galaxydigital.com/agency/detail/dallas-utd/ 

  2. View “Program Opportunities”

  3. Click “View Details” for the date you want to volunteer

  4. Click “Respond” in the upper right hand corner*

  5. At the bottom of the page click “Submit Opportunity Response” 

  6. You should see a pop-up window that says, “Thank you for Volunteering.”

Please Note: You can cancel /change your registration by going back into the opportunity. However cancellations can only be made up until 1 day prior to an opportunity.

 

* If you have not already done so you must respond to 2 additional qualifications BEFORE you can respond to (sign-up for) volunteer opportunities:

 

1. Join SportsYou (see detailed instructions in the linked document that will appear)

   2. Complete the New Volunteer Online Training (see detailed instructions in the linked document that will        appear)

Please Note: These qualifications are manually verified and approved by your Program Director. Once you have completed these it may take a few days before they are approved.
